Bella Tromba’s dynamic and engaging performances have reached audiences internationally for over ten years.  Following Bella Tromba's debut at the Purcell Room for the Park Lane Group in 2007, the quartet’s commitment to commissioning outstanding chamber music for brass has attracted audiences to performances at Cheltenham, Henley and St Davids' Festivals and to the National Portrait Gallery. 

Bella Tromba have broadcast live for BBC Radio and Classic FM.  


Specialising in trumpets of all sizes

Bella Tromba's instruments include the piccolo trumpet, bass trumpet and flugelhorn, a stylistically rich repertoire has developed from the combined passions of an ensemble that is as unique as the members of Bella Tromba, Becca, Emma, Jo and Vickie, who perform for Britten Sinfonia, Grimethorpe Colliery Band, London Sinfonietta, London Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Jamaica All Stars Big Band and Welsh National Opera. 

Educational collaborations in the UK and internationally  

Bella Tromba’s commitment to inspiring young players has led to educational collaborations at the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music Junior Department, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and to international performances at brass industry conferences in Canada, Germany and Poland.
