Vickie van Uden

Vickie van Uden  is a highly regarded cornet, flugel and trumpet player. 

Vickie has appeared with pop artists McFly and the Sugababes and performed on hit TV show, Britain’s Got Talent. She has recorded two solo trumpet albums and has presented masterclasses and workshops for English Brass Academy and Live Music Now.  

A founding member of Bella Tromba, Vickie has undertaken UK, Canadian and European tours and appeared on BBC Radio 3.  

Featured as a cornet soloist at the age of eleven in her Grandad's brass band, Vickie was invited to further her musical education at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music and the Junior Department of the Royal Northern College of Music. Vickie later studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music, under the guidance of the late James Watson. Vickie is Musical Director of Richmond Brass Band and continues to enjoy performing with championship level brass bands.
